The Department for Infrastructure and Transport plays a vital role connecting people and places in South Australia by managing roads, marine and public transport networks across the state, and builds and maintains the state-owned infrastructure that enables the delivery of essential and important government services to our community.

The Vehicle Identity and Assessment Station (VIDAS) provides customer-focused vehicle identity assessment and inspection services, supporting the accurate verification, booking, administration, and processing of vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

The VIDAS Receptionist provides frontline customer service and administrative support to ensure efficient vehicle identity assessment operations. We are seeking a proactive, customer-focused individual with strong communication, organisational and data management skills, the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure, and a commitment to accuracy, teamwork and public sector values.

Special Conditions

- A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.
- A Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to employment with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport, which must be renewed every five years before expiry.
- Location is at Naweena Road, Regency Park.




- Some out of hours and weekend work along with some intra/interstate travel may be required.
- Possession of and willingness to use a current driver’s licence is essential.

RemunerationASO2 - $66,442 to $69,504 pa + superannuation.
