A Canberra based real estate company is seeking an experienced and proactive Insurance Manager to join its team.

In this key role, you will oversee insurance renewals, policy management and claims while building strong relationships with insurance brokers, insurers, clients and internal stakeholders. You will help ensure insurance matters are managed accurately, efficiently and with a consistently high standard of service.

Key responsibilities

- Managing insurance renewals, policies and claims from beginning to end

- Developing strong relationships with brokers, insurers and other stakeholders

- Providing guidance and support on insurance-related matters

- Ensuring accurate records and documentation are maintained

- Monitoring claims and following up to achieve timely outcomes

- Delivering responsive and professional service to clients

- Supporting compliance with relevant legislation and internal procedures





- Contributing to broader business objectives and continuous improvement

About you

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

- A minimum of two years’ experience within the insurance industry

- A strong understanding of insurance policies, renewals and claims

- The ability to develop practical knowledge of relevant state and territory legislation

- Excellent customer service and stakeholder-management skills

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Exceptional organisation and attention to detail

- The ability to manage competing priorities and respond calmly to urgent matters
