Master Jeweller

We are seeking an accomplished Master Jeweller to join our skilled workshop team. This is a senior hands-on position for a highly experienced tradesperson who takes exceptional pride in their craft and has the technical expertise to undertake complex jewellery manufacture, restoration, repair and alteration to the highest standard.

Beyond your own work at the bench, you will be a valued source of technical expertise within the workshop, sharing your knowledge, supporting the development of other jewellers and helping us continually strengthen our standards of craftsmanship and quality.

About the Role

As a Master Jeweller, you will work across a diverse range of precious jewellery and undertake technically complex work requiring a high degree of precision, judgement and craftsmanship.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Completing complex jewellery manufacture, repairs, restorations and alterations across precious metals and gemstones

- Applying advanced goldsmithing and bench jewellery techniques to achieve exceptional workmanship and finish

- Diagnosing challenging repairs and determining the most appropriate technical solution while considering the integrity, value and condition of each piece

- Working confidently with precious metals and a broad range of gemstones, with a strong understanding of their properties and appropriate handling requirements

- Assessing work throughout each stage and maintaining exacting quality standards before pieces leave the workshop

- Providing technical guidance and sharing specialist knowledge with jewellers,



apprentices and other members of the workshop team

- Supporting the development of craftsmanship and technical capability across the workshop

- Working collaboratively with workshop leadership, quality and other areas of the business to resolve complex technical matters

- Maintaining productivity and agreed turnaround times without compromising workmanship or quality

About You

This position would suit a highly accomplished jeweller who has spent many years developing their craft and is recognised for the quality and consistency of their work.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

- Extensive professional experience as a qualified Jeweller/Goldsmith, with advanced bench jewellery expertise

- Exceptional craftsmanship across jewellery manufacture, repair, restoration and alteration

- Advanced knowledge of precious metals, gemstones and their properties

- Strong technical capability across traditional and contemporary jewellery-making techniques

- Experience confidently undertaking complex, high-value and technically challenging work

- Excellent attention to detail and an uncompromising approach to quality

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to determine solutions for unusual or difficult jewellery work

- The ability and willingness to share knowledge, mentor others and contribute to the development of less experienced jewellers





- A collaborative approach and genuine pride in being part of a skilled workshop team

- A robust understanding of the care, discretion and responsibility required when working with valuable and sentimental pieces

Formal trade qualifications in jewellery manufacture or an equivalent recognised qualification are highly regarded.
