A little about the roles

In the Practice & Implementation Specialist roles, you will support the national implementation of KAA's uplifted Practice Framework and evidence based, trauma informed and culturally safe practice methodologies and policies.

Reporting to the Practice Partner, you will develop and deliver training, write content, coach and support the implementation of the framework by hosting Communities of Practice and representing needs and challenges to effectively implement the Child Safeguarding and Practice Frameworks.

Other key responsibilities include:

- Facilitating workshops, alongside key stakeholders in program areas, across all jurisdictions.
- Supporting operational teams to test, refine and implement program approaches in the practice framework.
- Develop implementation resources, training materials, practice guidance and supporting documentation to enable consistent program delivery.
- Provide specialist input into program approaches for children, young people and families with complex trauma, statutory involvement or intersecting support needs.
- Contribute to the development of outcome measures,



evaluation approaches and reporting mechanisms that assess implementation and effectiveness of the enhanced Practice Framework.
- Working collaboratively with the Practice, Operations, Quality, and Learning & Development teams.

The base salary for these positions are $115,337 - $120,440 per annum + super + salary packaging options up to $15.9k per year.

There are 2 x full-time, 12-month contract positions available. You can be based at any of our offices, nationally!

About you

You will come with demonstrated experience working directly with children, young people, their families and providing trauma-informed practice. You will also come with experience in practice leadership and / or clinical leadership working with children, young people and families in systems, human services and community settings.

We are also looking for applicants who have experience developing and delivering training to community services operational staff.

Other key things we are looking for:

- A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or related discipline.
- Experience leading Communities of Practice, working groups and providing coaching, mentoring and reflective practice.
- Extensive knowledge of child and family service systems, government practices and procedures.
- Proven highly developed interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills.
