About the Role

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated Enrolled Nurses (EN) or Registered Nurses (RN) to join our clinical team across Interhealth Medical Clinic and Cheltenham Medical Centre

Experience in general practice is preferred but not essential. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn and be trained and values a healthy work-life balance. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in a supportive and welcoming environment.

We have opportunity available for:

- 1 x Part-Time EN/RN

The position will generally be worked across a 5-day Monday to Friday roster.

Our ideal candidate will be available to work within 8:30am – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. We understand that nurses have different commitments, so we are happy to discuss roster flexibility and availability with the right candidate.

We will provide comprehensive training and ongoing support.

This role suits a nurse who is organised, compassionate, professional, and enjoys working in a busy general practice environment.

About You

Your healthcare experience will enable you to undertake a broad range of clinical duties, including:

- Immunisations and vaccination clinics

- Wound care and wound management

- Assisting doctors with minor surgical procedures

- Chronic disease management

- Health assessments and preventative healthcare

- Maintaining accurate patient records

- Managing patient recalls and follow-up

- Clinical room preparation and infection control

- Supporting occupational health services

- Pre-employment medicals and health assessments

- Experience in general practice will be highly regarded. Experience in occupational health or pre-employment medicals is advantageous but not essential, as we will provide training to the successful candidate.

You will also:

- Hold current AHPRA registration as an EN or RN

- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Have strong attention to detail





- Be able to work independently while contributing positively to a team

- Demonstrate excellent organisation and time-management skills

- Be able to prioritise tasks in a busy clinical environment

- Display empathy, professionalism and a patient-centred approach

- Maintain patient and staff confidentiality at all times

- Show initiative and enthusiasm for continuous quality improvement
