About Kantra

Kantra Copper (ASX:KAN) is a growing ASX-listed Australian copper producer with its heart in South Australia. Kantra has operated since 2005 and completed open-pit mining at Kanmantoo in 2020. In 2023 we commenced development of our underground mine and in 2024 completed our transition to underground copper production.

Our operation is well capitalised with a 3–3.6Mtpa processing plant, with permitted surface infrastructure in place. Kantra is also testing the next suite of high-potential targets. In addition to the Kanmantoo operation, we have a large land holding of granted Exploration Licences in South-eastern South Australia, which are highly prospective for the discovery of economic copper deposits within a variety of geological settings (“Southeastern Copper Project”).

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join the Kantra Copper Exploration team at an exciting stage of growth and discovery during their expansion phase - ‘with PFS underway for Coburn Copper as well as exciting new greenfields tenements in highly prospective areas across South Australia. As an Exploration Field Technician, you will play a hands-on role in supporting drilling programs, sample collection and management, core processing, and field-based exploration activities that contribute directly to the discovery of future mineral resources. Working alongside an experienced geology team, you'll gain exposure to a diverse range of exploration programs while developing valuable technical skills in a dynamic outdoor environment. As part of a growing exploration project, you'll have the rare opportunity to be involved from the early stages, contribute to new discoveries, and help shape the future success of an emerging copper operation.

Located at our exploration site in Cockburn, SA, where site accommodation will be provided for those FIFO from Adelaide and just a short 30-minute drive from Broken Hill for local residents, this role offers the perfect balance of remote exploration work and access to the amenities of a thriving regional community. Key Responsibilities

- Support drilling and exploration programs through the collection of accurate, reliable and high-quality geological data.
- Manage all aspects of sample handling, including marking, splitting, orientation, cutting, numbering, dispatch and data entry.
- Conduct field-based geological, geochemical, geotechnical, geophysical and hydrogeological exploration activities.
- Complete on-site sample preparation, QA/QC processes, record keeping and database management to ensure data integrity.
- Assist geologists with exploration campaigns, logistics coordination and the execution of field programs.
- Support the safe movement of samples and equipment while maintaining strong hazard awareness in remote field environments.
- Assist with contractor and field crew management to ensure exploration activities are delivered safely, efficiently and to plan.
- Operate mobile plant and equipment where required and maintain compliance with site procedures, safety standards and environmental requirements.

About you

- You have a strong commitment to safety and enjoy working in a hands-on, outdoor environment.
- You are proactive, reliable and thrive working both independently and as part of a team.
- You have experience in exploration, mining, drilling, earthworks or other field-based operations.
- You possess strong attention to detail and take pride in maintaining accurate records and high-quality work.
- You are adaptable, physically fit and enjoy working in energetic and remote locations.
- You hold a current driver's licence and are excited by the opportunity to contribute to a growing exploration project from the ground up.

To be eligible for this role, you will need:

- Current Driver's Licence, with the ability to travel and work across remote exploration sites.
- Previous experience in exploration, mining, drilling, earthworks or a similar field-based role.
- Strong understanding of workplace health, safety and environmental requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to collect,



manage and record field data accurately and efficiently.
- Physically fit and capable of working in challenging outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Highly regarded:

- Site based experience or past training in a relevant field
- Additional licenses (e.g. Forklift, HV, Traffic Management)
- Previous Mobile Plant experience
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate
