Kraftur is selecting five people for our next paid Concrete Construction Bootcamp, starting 12 October 2026.

You'll spend four weeks learning the fundamentals of commercial concrete construction, working alongside experienced crews on real South East Queensland projects and receiving structured coaching from day one.

This isn't training for the sake of training. It's an prospect to prove yourself for ongoing employment and a traineeship with Kraftur.

The earning potential is real: our current trainees each earned more than $100,000 last financial year, including overtime and allowances.*

We're not looking for experienced concreters. We're looking for people with the attitude to become good ones.

What is Kraftur Bootcamp?

Kraftur Bootcamp is a four-week introduction to working in commercial concrete construction.
You'll start with practical, facilitated training covering the fundamentals you need before entering a live construction environment.

From there, you'll join Kraftur crews on real project sites, where you'll continue learning under close supervision and begin developing the skills, habits and understanding required to work safely and productively in the industry.

This isn't four weeks sitting in a classroom.

It's a supported introduction to the real job.

What you'll learn

During Bootcamp, you'll be introduced to areas including:

- Working safely on construction sites

- Construction tools and equipment





- Measurements, levels and basic plan reading

- Planning and organising work

- Workplace communication

- Concrete construction activities

- Working around plant and equipment

- Site expectations, teamwork and productivity

- Kraftur's systems, standards and ways of working

You'll also spend most of Bootcamp working alongside experienced Kraftur people on active projects.

What we're looking for

Experience isn't the main thing we're looking for.

We're looking for people who demonstrate:

- Commitment – you turn up, follow through and take responsibility

- Mateship – you look after the people around you

- Positive Leadership – you bring the right attitude and influence others positively

- Loyal Team Player – you put the crew and the job ahead of ego

You'll need to be comfortable with the realities of construction work.

That means early starts, physical work, working outdoors, long site days and travelling to different project locations.
You need to be prepared to listen, learn, take feedback and contribute wherever the crew needs you.

What you'll need

Applicants must:

- Hold or be able to obtain a Construction White Card before commencing

- Safety work boots





- Have reliable transport to get to work and project sites

- Be available for the full four-week Bootcamp

- Have the right to work in Australia

Previous construction experience is welcome, but it is not required.

Where could Bootcamp lead?

Bootcamp is the front door into a broader development pathway at Kraftur. People who demonstrate the right attitude, capability and alignment with our crew may be offered the opportunity to continue working with Kraftur after Bootcamp.

From there, opportunities may include further structured training, formal qualifications, traineeships and development into specialist construction skills over time.
We don't expect you to arrive as a concreter or a construction expert.

We're looking for people with the potential to become one.
