About the role

An established Australian food manufacturer is seeking an experienced, hands-on supervisor to lead a small production team while completing comprehensive training in equipment and manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

- Allocate staff and manage daily production

- Monitor workflow, output and product quality

- Train staff and address performance issues

- Enforce food safety, allergen, GMP and cleaning procedures

- Complete production and quality records

- Work across mixing, extruding, wrapping and packing when required

About you

- Previous supervisory experience in food manufacturing or a similar production setting is required

- Calm,



organised and confident directing staff, delegating work and solving production problems

- Mechanically minded and confident learning, operating and troubleshooting production equipment

- Experience with mixers, extruders, flow-wrappers or similar machinery would be advantageous

- A forklift licence would be advantageous but is not essential

- Able to perform regular manual handling of ingredients and materials weighing up to 25 kg

- Available to work between 6:30am and 6:30pm when required
