About the Role Working closely with the Centre Manager, you will play an integral role in the ongoing success of our Riverwalk service.

You will support daily operations, mentor and develop educators, build robust relationships with families, and help maintain a positive, inclusive environment where children, families and educators can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Centre Manager with the day to day leadership and operations of the service
- Lead the centre in the Centre Manager's absence
- Recruit, onboard and support the development of passionate educators
- Mentor, coach and inspire educators to deliver high quality educational programs
- Foster a positive, inclusive and collaborative team culture
- Support enrolments, occupancy growth and community engagement initiatives
- Build strong relationships with children, families and the local community
- Assist with rostering, staffing and workforce planning
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standard and Education and Care Services National Regulations
- Contribute to continuous improvement and Quality Improvement Plan initiatives
- Promote a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment




- Support administrative responsibilities and childcare management systems

About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- ACECQA approved Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Care
- Experience as an Assistant Centre Manager, Educational Leader, 2IC or other senior leadership position
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Framework and National Quality Standard
- Excellent leadership, mentoring and coaching skills
- Strong communication and relationship building abilities
- Confidence supporting educators while managing multiple priorities
- Experience supporting occupancy growth, enrolments and family engagement
- Experience using XAP, Xplor or similar childcare management software is highly regarded
- Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
- Valid Working with Children Check and National Police Check
