About Kantra

Kantra Copper (ASX:KAN) is a growing ASX-listed Australian copper producer with its heart in South Australia. Kantra has operated since 2005 and completed open-pit mining at Kanmantoo in 2020. In 2023 we commenced development of our underground mine and in 2024 completed our transition to underground copper production.

Our operation is well capitalised with a 3–3.6Mtpa processing plant, with permitted surface infrastructure in place. Kantra is also testing the next suite of high-potential targets. In addition to the Kanmantoo operation, we have a large land holding of granted Exploration Licences in South-eastern South Australia, which are highly prospective for the discovery of economic copper deposits within a variety of geological settings (“Southeastern Copper Project”).

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join the Kantra Copper Exploration team at an exciting stage of growth and discovery during their expansion phase - ‘with PFS underway for Coburn Copper as well as exciting new greenfields tenements in highly prospective areas across South Australia. As an Exploration Field Geologist, you will play a key role in supporting near-mine and regional exploration programs by delivering high-quality geological information that drives future resource growth. Working across drilling, sampling, geological mapping, interpretation and modelling activities, you will contribute directly to target generation, exploration success and project development. Based at our Cockburn exploration project, you'll enjoy a varied role that combines fieldwork, technical analysis and stakeholder engagement, while being part of a collaborative team committed to Safety, Integrity and Delivery.

Located at our exploration site in Cockburn, SA, where site accommodation will be provided for those FIFO from Adelaide and just a short 30-minute drive from Broken Hill for local residents, this role offers the perfect balance of remote exploration work and access to the amenities of a thriving regional community. Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and manage exploration drilling, sampling, assaying and geological interpretation activities.
- Undertake geological mapping, field sampling and interpretation of geological observations.
- Develop and maintain geological models using drilling, sampling and geological datasets.
- Apply QA/QC processes and maintain high standards of geological data integrity and traceability.
- Plan and coordinate geophysical surveys and field data acquisition programs.
- Oversee contractors and field personnel during exploration campaigns and drilling programs.
- Prepare accurate exploration reports and maintain geological, sampling and drilling records.
- Identify geological risks and provide technical input into exploration planning and drill program design.

To be eligible for this role, you will need:

- Current Driver's Licence, with the ability to travel and work across remote exploration sites.
- Tertiary qualification in Geology or a related geoscience discipline.
- Previous experience in exploration, mining, drilling, earthworks or a similar field-based role.
- Practical understanding of exploration field activities and geological data collection.
- Ability to interpret geological data and maintain accurate geological records.
- Strong communication, teamwork and time management skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices,



continuous improvement and teamwork skills, with a proactive attitude.

Highly regarded:

- Experience in core logging, exploration drilling, field sampling and geological mapping.
- Experience managing day-to-day exploration activities and field programs.
- Exposure to Surface Diamond, RC and/or Mud Rotary drilling methods.
- Experience using geological modelling and database software, including Geobank or similar systems.
