New Venue Expansion - Experienced Chefs/Cooks

Blend Café is expanding, and we’re looking for a full time and a part time Chef or Experienced Cook to join our team as we expand into our new café and cocktail bar opening in early October 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing local hospitality business, working across a fresh café menu during the day and our cocktail bar and tapas-style offering in the evenings.

We’re looking for someone who is confident in the kitchen, works well in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing consistently outstanding food.

Experienced Chef/Cook – Blend Café & Cocktail Bar

About the role

Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing and cooking café and tapas-style menu items
- Maintaining consistent food quality, presentation and portion control
- Completing food preparation and assisting with daily kitchen organization




- Working efficiently during busy service periods
- Following food safety, hygiene and cleaning procedures
- Monitoring stock levels and minimizing food waste
- Maintaining a clean, organized and well-prepared kitchen
- Working closely with our kitchen and front-of-house team
- Contributing ideas and helping us continue to develop our food offering

About you

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has previous experience as a chef or cook
- Is reliable, organized and able to work independently
- Can remain calm and efficient during busy services
- Has a strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene
- Takes pride in food quality and presentation
- Has a positive attitude and works well within a team
- Is willing to learn and grow with the business
- Is available for a combination of daytime shifts and Friday and Saturday evening service (CLOSED Sundays)
