Job Description

Early Bird Cafe, a restaurant located on Magnetic Island, is looking to immediately fill a permanent full-time position of waitress. You will welcome guests, provide menus and beverage options, prepare and arrange tables, take orders, serve meals and beverages, process payments, and maintain the dining area.

Key responsibilities

- Welcome guests and provide menus and beverage options
n
- Prepare, set and arrange tables before service
n
- Take customer food and drink orders and communicate them to kitchen and bar staff
n
- Serve meals, beverages and other requested items to customers, including opening bottles and pouring drinks
n
- Explicit used plates, cutlery and other tableware and return them to the kitchen
n
- Remove empty bottles and used glassware, and replace or refill glasses as needed
n
- Process customer payments using POS systems and cash registers

About you

- At least 1 year of work experience in a waiter role
n
- Consistent and able to work well in a team
n
- Able to perform well under pressure
n

n

Salary: between $71,500 – $81,500 per year + superannuation (based on experience)
