Job Summary:**

AUREOS INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES LIMITED is seeking a skilled Fitter to perform assembly, installation, and maintenance of mechanical components and structures within our various infrastructure projects. This role involves working with a variety of tools and equipment to ensure the proper functioning and integrity of our systems.

Job Responsibilities:**

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fitting requirements and procedures.
- Measure, cut, shape, and fit metal components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Assemble and install mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment according to specifications and safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on existing infrastructure components.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and identify appropriate solutions.
- Operate lifting and rigging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as relevant industry regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members, engineers, and supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Document work performed, including maintenance logs and inspection reports.

Job Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent; a technical diploma or certification in fitting, mechanical engineering,



or a related field is highly preferred.
- Proven experience as a Fitter, ideally within an infrastructure, construction, or heavy industry environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of various fitting techniques, tools, and equipment (e.g., grinders, drills, measuring tools, welding equipment).
- Familiarity with different types of metals and their properties.
- Ability to perform precise measurements and calculations.
- Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is an asset.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various work environments, including confined spaces and at heights.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in demanding conditions.
- Valid driver's license may be required.
