Full Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced livestock qualified to join their leadership team in a senior operational role.
This position offers the opportunity to take responsibility for a large-scale livestock enterprise, overseeing day-to-day operations, cattle performance, grazing management and team leadership. It is well suited to somebody who enjoys balancing hands-on livestock management with strategic decision-making and people leadership.

About The Role:

- Oversee day-to-day livestock operations;
- Monitor and improve cattle performance;
- Manage nutrition and feeding programs;
- Coordinate stock movements and husbandry activities;




- Implement and manage grazing strategies;
- Manage livestock health and welfare;
- Lead and mentor a small livestock team;
- Coordinate operational planning and resource allocation;
- Maintain accurate production and livestock records;
- Work closely with management to achieve production targets;
- Promote a strong safety culture throughout the operation.

About You:

- Strong practical livestock experience;
- Proven leadership and people management capability;
- Sound understanding of cattle nutrition and animal performance;
- Experience managing grazing systems and pasture utilisation;
- Good organisational and planning abilities;
- Comfortable using digital record-keeping systems;
- Ability to work autonomously and make sound operational decisions;
- Agricultural qualifications (highly regarded)
