About the Role:

We are seeking an Allied Health Assistant (Grade 2) for a temporary contract placement in Portland, VIC, running from 31 August to 6 November 2026. Working Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm with an early finish on Fridays (76 hours per fortnight), you will deliver safe and effective personal and clinical care under the direct and indirect supervision of allied health practitioners, in accordance with each patient's needs, goals and preferences. Reporting to the Allied Health Manager, you will contribute to the effective operations of the allied health team, working across hospital wards and community group settings.

About You:





- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance from an Australian registered training organisation (essential)
- Specialisation in an allied health clinical practice area (desirable)
- Sound knowledge, skills and experience supporting Allied Health professionals
- Hospital experience (essential)
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Positive computer literacy including organisational IT systems
- Proven understanding of the needs and sensitivities of people from diverse backgrounds
- Eligible to work in Australia
