About the Role:

We are seeking an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (Grade 1 or 2) for a temporary contract placement in Portland, VIC, running from 31 August to 6 November 2026, Monday to Friday (76 hours per fortnight). You will manage a generalist caseload treating a diverse range of conditions across various patient demographics, working within a multidisciplinary allied health team delivering community-based prevention, early intervention, post-acute treatment and rehabilitation services. This role requires adaptability and broad expertise to deliver personalised care across different clinical settings, and may require working as a sole practitioner on occasion.

- Competitive hourly rate + superannuation

About You:

- Tertiary qualification and accreditation as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) with membership through ESSA
- Post graduate clinical qualification(s) in specialty area of practice (Grade 2)




- Significant (Grade 1) or extensive (Grade 2) clinical knowledge, skills and leadership experience in exercise physiology
- Advanced clinical assessment and analysis skills with ability to implement treatments for individuals and groups
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of relevant accreditation and funding systems
- Computer literacy including organisational IT systems and emerging technologies
- Understanding of the needs and sensitivities of people from diverse backgrounds
- Understanding of the opportunities and challenges of rural healthcare delivery
- Eligible to work in Australia
