About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Perioperative Registered Nurse for a temporary contract placement in Kingaroy, QLD. Contracts run 4 to 12 weeks with up to 80 hours per fortnight, with travel and accommodation provided. You will deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care within a supportive regional theatre workplace.
- Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care across theatre settings
- Prepare and support patients throughout the perioperative journey
- Perform instrument and circulating duties in line with ACORN standards
- Assist with anaesthetic support and recovery as required
- Work collaboratively with surgeons, anaesthetists and the wider theatre team
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Benefits:
- $70 - $80 per hour + superannuation

About You:
- Full AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated perioperative experience (scrub/scout, anaesthetics or recovery)
- Sound knowledge of ACORN standards and perioperative best practice
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Eligible to work in Australia
