About the Role:

We are seeking a State Clinical Team Leader (Physiotherapist) for a fully remote, Victoria-based leadership position covering Aged Care, Community and NDIS clinical services. Reporting to the Managing Director of Operations, you will provide clinical and operational leadership and oversight of a multidisciplinary allied health team spread across Victoria, delivering high quality, evidence-based care and excellent customer service. You will manage clinical governance, staff supervision and performance, and service growth, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, funding models and regulation. Regular travel is required to meet operational demands, including providing clinical backfill to the Melbourne community team as required.

- Provide clinical and skilled leadership to the Aged Care, Community and NDIS allied health team across Victoria
- Supervise, support and mentor junior staff, new graduates and a multidisciplinary team
- Manage day-to-day operational efficiency including staff rostering and coverage across Victoria
- Lead recruitment, interviewing, selection and onboarding of new staff
- Drive staff retention through proactive engagement, development planning and positive team culture




- Undertake performance management processes including appraisals and addressing underperformance
- Manage and resolve client and stakeholder complaints, identifying trends to drive service improvement
- Build and maintain relationships with aged care providers, NDIS Local Area Coordinators, Support Coordinators and referral partners
- Assist in the development and implementation of clinical and operational policies, procedures and new programs
- Provide discipline-specific clinical backfill to the Melbourne community team as required
- Ensure all clinical staff are appropriately registered, credentialed and working within scope of practice

About You:

- Qualified Physiotherapist with current, unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Minimum 5 years' post-graduate clinical experience across acute hospital, aged care and NDIS settings
- Demonstrated experience supervising and mentoring junior staff and/or a multidisciplinary team




- Demonstrated experience in performance management, including managing underperformance and conducting appraisals
- Demonstrated experience in complaints management and resolution
- Experience in operational management including rostering, retention, interviewing and onboarding
- Experience assisting with policy and procedure development and setting up new programs or services
- Sound understanding of aged care service provision, the ANACC funding model and Aged Care Quality Standards
- Sound understanding of the NDIS funding and service model
- Prior experience in a formal Team Leader or Clinical Lead role (desirable)
- Experience working across a geographically dispersed or remote-working team (desirable)
- Competency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems
- Current valid Victorian driver's licence and own vehicle, with willingness to travel across Victoria
- Current valid National Police Check
- Willingness and ability to clinically backfill the Melbourne community team when required
- Eligible to work in Australia
