I’m seeking an experienced Rigger to join a shutdown team at a major steelworks facility in the Illawarra region. This is a great opportunity for a skilled Rigger to secure ongoing shutdown work with a reputable operation, working alongside an experienced crew on a large-scale industrial site.

Responsibilities:

- Rigging and dogging duties to support shutdown activities
- Lifting, moving, and positioning heavy plant, equipment, and structural steel
- Setting up and operating cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment safely




- Reading and interpreting lift plans and rigging diagrams
- Working at heights as required for shutdown tasks
- Conducting pre-start checks on rigging gear and equipment
- Working closely with the shutdown team to meet project deadlines
- Adhering to all site safety procedures and requirements

Licences/Experience required:

- Rigger/Dogman Licence
- Working at Heights certification
- White Card
- Previous shutdown experience preferred
- Robust understanding of site safety requirements
