About the role
We're looking for an experienced Cardiac Theatre Nurse. Are you ready to bring your skills to a state-of-the-art private hospital? You'll work across all cardiac cases for the hospital, and when not in cardiac theatre, you'll be supported to work in surgical areas where you're most comfortable or have a special interest. Be part of a growing cardiac service, this is a great opportunity to join a well-resourced, patient-focused perioperative team.

- Scrub and circulate for specialised cardiac procedures
- Take on shifts in another specialty based on your clinical background and experience
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary perioperative team

Skills and Experience

- Registration with the NZNC essential
- Minimum 3 years' experience in cardiac or cardiothoracic theatre nursing
- Proven clinical competence in cardiac procedures
- Flexible and willing to support across other specialties as needed
- A positive, team-oriented approach to patient care




- Excellent communication and time management skills
- The ability to remain calm and effective in a busy surgical environment
