The Role

As the Assistant Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the upkeep, presentation, and functionality of the property's grounds and facilities. Working within a fast-paced hospitality environment, you will assist in coordinating maintenance activities, managing outdoor areas, maintaining high safety standards, and ensuring guests enjoy a clean, welcoming, and well-presented environment. This hands-on position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team while leading by example.

Skills & Attributes





- Strong knowledge of cleaning and maintaining outdoor areas, including pool surrounds, BBQ areas, public amenities, accommodation blocks, pathways, driveways, and car parks to a high presentation standard
- Ability to safely operate equipment while following Work Health & Safety (WHS) requirements and safe work practices.
- Positive communication skills with a collaborative, team-focused approach
- Practical problem-solving ability with experience using hand and power tools safely
- Reliable, adaptable, and committed to maintaining high presentation and safety standards
