THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Payroll Team Leader, you will support the accurate and timely processing of payroll while maintaining employee records, completing payroll audits and managing a range of payroll transactions. You will also act as a trusted point of contact for employees and stakeholders, providing clear and timely support with payroll-related enquiries.
Role duties include:
- Review payroll and direct payment reports to support accurate and timely employee payments
- Maintain and update payroll system data, ensuring employee records remain accurate, compliant and up to date
- Respond to Payroll-related enquiries and provide clear advice and solutions to employees and key stakeholders
- Process payments through online banking platforms
- Conduct regular audits of annual leave, personal leave and long service leave in accordance with relevant legislation and agreements
- Process complex Payroll transactions, including back pays and superannuation adjustments
- Maintain accurate Payroll and personnel records while supporting internal compliance requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve Payroll processes, accuracy and service delivery
- Provide support to other members of the Payroll team as required
IDEAL APPLICANTS
This is a great opportunity for someone with at least 2 - 3 years of Payroll experience who enjoys working in a rapid-paced environment and is looking to continue developing their technical Payroll knowledge within a large and complex organisation.
