About the position Our client is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our clients' team for 3 days per week.
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience assisting with dental implant procedures and be confident supporting dentists throughout surgical and restorative appointments.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Chairside assisting during dental implant procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms for surgical and general dentistry
- Assisting with extractions and other minor oral surgery
- Supporting restorative treatments including crowns and bridges
- Sterilisation and infection control procedures
- Preparing instruments, materials and surgical equipment
- Providing attentive patient support before, during and after treatment
- Maintaining accurate clinical and treatment room records
- Supporting the wider clinical team with general dental procedures as required
This position would suit a Dental Assistant who enjoys working in a clinically wide-ranging environment and is particularly interested in implant and surgical dentistry.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Dental Assistant
- Experience assisting with dental implant procedures highly regarded
- Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilisation standards
- Confidence assisting with surgical and restorative treatments
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a busy clinical team
- Availability to work 3 days per week
