Au Locums Direct is seeking experienced and talented locum medical officers for vacancies across the Wheatbelt from August to October 2026.
Primary Night Doctor: 2000–0830 — full-shift rate, responsible for ED overnight
Secondary Night Doctor: 2230–0830 — supports the Primary Doctor and provides ward coverage as required
Maximum rate: $2,100
Suitable for FACEM, SMO or Senior ED Reg (PGY6+)
August 2026 – Emergency Department
Thu 27 Aug: 1300–2300 — Float
Sat 29 Aug: 2230–0830 — Secondary
Sun 30 Aug: 2230–0830 — Secondary
Mon 31 Aug: 2230–0830 — Secondary
August – Inpatient Ward
Sat 29 – Sun 30 Aug: 0800–1800 daily × 2 days | 25% loading applies
September 2026 – Emergency Department
Multiple shifts available throughout September, including:
Tue 1 – Thu 3 Sep
Sun 6 – Fri 11 Sep
Sun 13 – Mon 28 Sep
Wed 30 Sep
Shift types:
Primary nights: 2000–0830
Secondary nights: 2230–0830
Day/on-call: 0800–1800 or 1030–2030
