IEPro are working with a respected civil infrastructure contractor to recruit an experienced Drainage Supervisor to join their project delivery team.

The initial project will be based locally in Brisbane, providing the chance to be home each night while taking ownership of significant drainage and associated civil works.

Beyond this project, the business has a developing pipeline of infrastructure work and requires someone who is willing to travel to future projects when required.

This opportunity will suit a hands-on Supervisor who knows drainage construction inside out, can effectively plan works and understands how to get the best out of crews, subcontractors and plant.

The Opportunity

As Supervisor, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of drainage and associated civil works, working closely with Project Managers and Engineers to ensure construction activities are properly planned and executed.

You will coordinate crews, subcontractors, plant and materials while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, productivity and programme.

The immediate role offers local Brisbane work, however flexibility to travel for future projects is essential.

The Role

In this role, you will:

- Lead the delivery of drainage and associated civil construction works
- Plan and sequence daily and weekly construction activities
- Coordinate direct crews, subcontractors, plant and materials
- Manage installation of stormwater drainage, pits, culverts and associated infrastructure
- Interpret construction drawings, specifications and methodologies
- Monitor productivity and ensure programme milestones are achieved
- Work closely with Engineers to coordinate upcoming works and resolve site issues




- Ensure works meet quality and project specification requirements
- Maintain strong safety standards across all construction activities
- Complete daily records and support project reporting requirements

About You

To succeed, you will bring:

- Proven experience supervising drainage works within civil construction
- Strong hands-on knowledge of stormwater drainage construction
- Experience delivering pits, pipes, culverts and associated civil works
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and productivity
- Ability to effectively manage crews, subcontractors and plant
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong safety and quality focus
- Excellent communication and leadership capability
- A practical, hands-on approach to project delivery
- Flexibility to travel to regional projects when required
