About The Role
Working in the Steel Industry you will play a critical role within the business, ensuring products are processed safely and efficiently to the highest quality standards.
These positions require safety-focused individuals with strong attention to detail, the ability to follow documented procedures, and a commitment to maintaining accurate production records. You will work as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced manufacturing workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor machines and equipment in the factory
- Load and unload products using overhead cranes and forklifts
- Operate forklifts to transport materials and finished products
- Perform manual handling and loading activities
- Complete production documentation and maintain accurate records
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures
- Work effectively within a team environment across day, afternoon and night shifts
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current Forklift licence with operating experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within foundry metal processing or heavy industry
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures
- Reliable work ethics and attendance record
- Overhead crane experience (highly regarded)
- Full Australian working rights
