Full Job Description
Talent Acquisition Group (TAG) is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Casual Catering Attendant to join our aviation catering team based at Cairns Airport.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for consistent casual work in a rapid-paced airport environment, with the potential to work 2–5 shifts per week.
About the Role As a Catering Attendant, you will assist with the preparation and organisation of airline catering equipment and supplies, helping ensure flights are serviced accurately and on time.
Your duties may include:
- Preparing and assembling airline catering equipment and supplies
- Packing and organising carts, trays and meal components
- Cleaning and maintaining work areas and equipment
- Following food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
- Working efficiently as part of a fast-paced operational team
- Completing manual handling and repetitive tasks throughout your shift
Shifts
- 7:00am – 3:00pm
- Approximately 2–5 shifts per week
- Casual position
- Availability across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays, is highly regarded

- Able to meet required aviation security and pre-employment compliance requirements
Previous experience in aviation, catering, food production, warehousing or a similar environment is advantageous but not essential.
