About the Company

Our client operates a growing network of dental practices, co-located within larger medical centres alongside GP and allied health services. This integrated model gives each practice strong, consistent patient flow and a genuine community feel, while patients benefit from coordinated care across dentistry, general medicine and child dental benefit services under one roof. The group continues to expand into new sites through organic growth and acquisition, and is still in the early stages of rolling the model out further across its existing medical centre network - meaning this is a genuine growth story, not a steady-state business.

About the Position

As State Operations Manager, you will support a portfolio of dental practices across the state. No two practices are the same: some need light-touch oversight and simply want a sounding board, others need a much more hands-on partner to lift performance, resolve issues and align the practice with the group's broader standards. Reading that difference correctly, practice by practice, is the core skill this role needs. You will also work closely with the dentists themselves. Each dentist effectively runs their own clinical business within the practice,



so success in this role depends on genuine relationship-building rather than top-down management - understanding what each dentist needs to do their best clinical work, and removing the operational friction that gets in the way of it. With the network still expanding into new sites, there is real scope to grow your remit as the business grows, and to shape how the operating model scales into the next phase of the group's growth.

Key Requirements

- Background within the dental industry
- Proven experience supporting or managing multiple sites, ideally in a dental setting
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build genuine trust and rapport with dentists and practice teams
- Excellent communication and empathy, with the judgement to flex your approach between hands-off and hands-on support
- Ambition and drive to grow with the business as the network continues to expand
