The medical imaging department runs a modern, well-resourced service and works closely with locum and visiting specialists to maintain coverage through peak leave periods and short-term gaps. Stepping into this team on a locum basis means working in a properly staffed and equipped MRI suite from day one, backed by the depth of a large public health service.

This is a locum MRI Radiographer opportunity covering a four to five week block from 28 September to 30 October 2026. You will perform a broad range of MRI examinations across general, neurological, musculoskeletal and body imaging within a high-volume public hospital setting. It is a well-defined,



time-limited placement that suits an experienced MRI radiographer looking for the variety and pace of a major metropolitan service without a long-term commitment.

Key requirements: current AHPRA registration under the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (Diagnostic Radiographer), unrestricted; demonstrated MRI experience in a clinical setting; confidence across a varied general and specialist MRI caseload; current National Police Certificate or willingness to obtain one; full working rights in Australia.
