We're partnering with a well-established and highly regarded organisation within the strata sector in search for a motivated Accountant to join their collaborative finance team based in the Sydney CBD.

The Role

This is a unique chance for an accounting professional who enjoys a balance of technical responsibilities and stakeholder engagement, working closely with committees and internal teams to deliver strong financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage financials for a portfolio of strata schemes, including budgeting and reporting
- Prepare annual budgets tailored to each scheme’s requirements
- Oversee compliance, including financial statements, audits, BAS, PAYG, and GST
- Liaise with strata managers on financial challenges and provide guidance
- Handle escalations across accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and payments
- Review invoices in line with internal authority processes
- Manage weekly payment runs and prepare EFT files for approval




- Support capture and management of Schedule B undertakings

What We're Looking For

- Strong understanding of financial management, tax, and audit requirements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
- CPA or CA qualification required
- Previous experience within the Strata sector
