Our client is looking for a Dentist to join our clients' team in a busy private dental practice in Mandurah, WA. This is an established 3-chair clinic with a supportive team of Dentists, a Hygienist and a Prosthetist, creating a well-rounded clinical environment where patients can access a broad range of dental care.
This is an additional role due to growth and increasing patient demand. The clinic is experiencing solid overflow, meaning the successful Dentist will be stepping into busy books rather than needing to build a patient base from scratch.
About the position
Our client is looking for a Dentist to work part time in a private practice setting. The role would suit either an experienced Dentist seeking a busy part-time position or a locally based graduate looking for strong mentorship and support.
You will have the opportunity to provide a mix of general dentistry and more complex treatment, with the Hygienist supporting routine preventive care. Clinical work may include examinations, treatment planning, composite restorations, crowns, bridges, dentures, extractions, wisdom teeth extractions, root canal therapy, gum disease treatment, emergency dentistry and preventive care.
Wisdom teeth extraction experience would be highly regarded, although our client is happy to support the right Dentist with training and mentorship. The principal Dentist performs implant work and has the setup to support further learning in this area, making this a great opportunity for a Dentist wanting to develop confidence in treatment planning, surgical dentistry and implant-related cases.
Key Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a Dentist
- Suitable for experienced Dentists or local graduates seeking mentorship
- ADC graduates considered with 1+ year of Australian experience
- Wisdom teeth extraction experience highly regarded
- Interest in implants or more complex dentistry desirable
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a small private practice team
