About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Building Assessor / Asset auditor to join a well-established and growing organisation operating across the construction and property sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional who enjoys autonomy, variety, and travelling to different project locations throughout Australia.

Working on a contract basis, you will be responsible for conducting building assessments, inspections, and reporting activities across a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial projects.

You might be a junior candidate looking for a foot in the door, someone on a working holiday visa looking to explore Australia, or an experienced building assessor looking for casual work!

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct building inspections and assessments in accordance with relevant standards and regulations
- Prepare clear, accurate, and detailed assessment reports
- Identify building defects, maintenance issues, and compliance concerns
- Liaise with stakeholders including owners, contractors, consultants, and project teams
- Provide professional recommendations and technical advice
- Travel to project sites across Australia as required

About You To be successful in this role, you will possess:





- Previous experience (ideally) as a Building Assessor, Asset Auditor, Building Inspector, Building Consultant, or similar
- Excellent written reporting and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
- Good skills with technology to be able to pick up
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail
- Relevant building, construction, surveying, or related qualifications

Essential Requirements

- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Own reliable vehicle
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout Australia (accommodation, meal allowance and flights, car, provided for interstate)
- Full Australian working rights
