Our client is a well-established leader in the manufacture of high-quality metal components and general machining, with over 30 years of industry experience. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Operator to join their expanding team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Programming, setting, and operating CNC machines
- Working across CNC lathes and milling machines (including 3-axis machining)
- Interpreting technical drawings to produce precision components
- Performing machine setup, adjustments, and loading programs
- Contributing to continuous improvement and quality initiatives
- Collaborating within a supportive and experienced team setting
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience programming and operating CNC machinery
- Strong experience with 3-axis milling and/or machining centres (highly regarded)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience setting up, adjusting, and running CNC machines independently
- Background in a manufacturing or machining environment
- Exposure to CNC lathes and/or milling machines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Reliable team player with good communication skills
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport (essential)
- Availability to work full-time hours (5 days per week)
