A doctor-owned group is looking for a VR GP for its purpose-built medical centre in Carseldine, north Brisbane. The centre has 10 consulting rooms and 4 treatment rooms, and is filling them as the residential corridor around it grows. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, and the clinic is about 25 minutes from the Brisbane CBD. You practise the way you choose, with full clinical and billing autonomy and no corporate oversight.
On Offer
- 70% of billings or $250 per hour for the first 3 months, whichever is higher
- Item 23 fee $105 and long consultation $165, with full billing discretion in a mixed billing model
- Full clinical autonomy, with no micromanagement
- 10 consultation rooms and 4 fully equipped treatment rooms
- Nursing and administration team on site, HotDoc online bookings
- Skin checks, mental health and chronic disease management already part of the clinic's work
- Full time or part time, with parking on site
Why Join
The group is owned and run by doctors, and it holds that GPs who are trusted with their own clinical decisions do better work. You will have a say in how the Carseldine clinic develops as it grows, and the nursing and admin team is there to keep your day on consulting. The building is current, light and set up for the way you want to practise.
Requirements
- Vocational Registration (FRACGP, FACRRM or equivalent)
- Available full time or part time
- Not a DPA location. A 6-month locum 19AB exemption may be offered, subject to eligibility
