Dream Nannies is seeking an active, friendly, and warm Specialist Nanny / Support Worker for a busy single-parent family based in Sutherland. The mother works full-time in the office and is seeking a trusted carer to help manage daily routines, household operations, and care for her active 8-year-old son during her shared custody weeks.

The 8-year-old boy is energetic, loves basketball, motorbikes, and coding camp, and has diagnoses of ASD Level 2 and ADHD. This role is ideal for a proactive, patient Support Worker who can build a fun, friend-like bond with the child while assisting with his daily therapy appointments (Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy). The household also includes a very affectionate 10-year-old Standard Schnauzer who loves cuddles, walks, and coming along for car rides!

The Role & Schedule

- Alternating Fortnightly Schedule (33 hours per active week):

- Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm.
- Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 7:00am to 6:00pm.

- The role covers morning prep, school drop-offs, afternoon care, therapy transport, and evening routines.
- Alternate weeks when the child is with his father are completely free.

Childcare & Household Duties

- Managing morning routines: getting the child ready for school, preparing breakfast,



and handling school drop-offs at 7:00am.
- School pick-ups, afternoon engagement, homework supervision, and assisting with basketball/code camps during school holidays.
- Transporting and assisting the child with weekday Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy appointments.
- Preparing healthy breakfasts and dinners for the child.
- General household management support, including light housework, turning over laundry, unpacking the dishwasher, and running light errands.
- Pet care: walking, feeding, and including the friendly dog on outings and car rides.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Specialist Nanny, Support Worker, or Carer working with children with ASD Level 2 and ADHD.
- ABN required for NDIS invoicing.
- Driver's Licence
- Active, patient, and warm personality capable of forming a strong, positive connection with the child.
- Genuine dog lover who is happy to integrate the family pet into daily routines.
