Agricultural Service Technicians & PDI Technicians

Goomalling and Katanning, WA

Are you mechanically minded, confident working with machinery and looking for your next opportunity in regional Western Australia?

We are recruiting for four technical vacancies within an established agricultural machinery business:

- 3 positions based in Goomalling

- 1 position based in Katanning

Opportunities are available for qualified Service Technicians, as well as practical, hands-on candidates who may not hold a formal trade qualification but have strong mechanical or engineering experience.

If you have worked as a serviceman, mechanical technician, agricultural machinery operator, engineering tradesperson or hands-on mechanical all-rounder, we would still like to hear from you.

A Day in the Role Will See You

Depending on your experience and the position, you may be responsible for:

- Servicing, inspecting and preparing agricultural machinery and equipment

- Completing pre-delivery inspections before machinery is provided to customers

- Identifying mechanical issues and completing practical repairs

- Checking that equipment is operating safely and as intended

- Assisting with general workshop servicing and technical tasks

- Using your mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment faults

- Completing work accurately and within required timeframes

- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work area

- Working alongside the wider service and operations team

- Supporting customers and agricultural operations through reliable workmanship

Your Application Will Stand Out If You Have

- A mechanical, automotive, agricultural, engineering or related trade qualification

- Previous experience servicing agricultural machinery, vehicles or mechanical equipment

- Strong hands-on mechanical skills gained through practical work experience





- Experience completing pre-delivery inspections or equipment checks

- The ability to diagnose faults and solve practical mechanical problems

- A safety-conscious and reliable approach to your work

- Positive attention to detail and pride in the quality of your workmanship

- A willingness to live and work in Goomalling or Katanning

Formal trade qualifications may not be essential for every vacancy. Candidates with substantial hands-on mechanical or engineering experience are encouraged to apply, particularly for the PDI and serviceman opportunities.

Competitive hourly rate: Up to $65 per hour, with the final rate negotiable depending on your experience and suitability.

Sign-on bonus: A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available, subject to terms and conditions.
