As our Commercial Sustainability Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping the commercial direction and long-term sustainability of our Home & Community portfolio.

Reporting to the Executive General Manager – Home & Community, you’ll be a trusted commercial partner to senior leaders, bringing together financial, workforce and operational insights to strengthen performance and inform strategic decision-making.

You’ll identify opportunities, challenge thinking and drive initiatives that improve commercial sustainability and operational effectiveness, while ensuring our services continue to deliver quality outcomes for the people we support.

Key duties of this role are to:

- Shape and deliver commercial strategies across the Home & Community portfolio.
- Partner with executive and senior leaders, providing commercial insights that inform strategic and operational decisions.
- Drive financial sustainability, performance and operational excellence across the portfolio.
- Inform workforce planning and labour management to support sustainable and effective service delivery.
- Leverage data and analytics to identify trends, risks and opportunities and drive informed action.
- Develop financial models,



business cases and ROI analysis to support investment and business optimisation decisions.
- Support pricing, tenders, contracts and commercial models that strengthen service sustainability.
- Lead continuous improvement and transformation while building commercial capability across the portfolio.

What you can bring to the team

You’re an experienced, commercially astute leader who brings strategic thinking, strong financial acumen and the ability to translate complex information into clear insights and action.

You’ll be confident partnering with executive and senior leaders, influencing decisions and constructively challenging thinking. You’ll combine strong commercial judgement with an understanding of how to balance financial sustainability, operational performance and quality service delivery.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

- Significant experience in commercial management, business planning or operational performance.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and performance analysis.
- Demonstrated experience in workforce planning, business optimisation and continuous improvement.
- Robust analytical capability with the ability to turn complex data into strategic insights and recommendations.
- Proven ability to influence and build trusted relationships with executive and senior stakeholders.
- Experience across commercial contracts, pricing, business cases and sustainable business models.




- Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving and change management capability.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Community Services, Social Services or a related discipline.
- A current Australian Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel as required.
- Experience within the disability sector will be highly regarded.

You will be required to undertake a “Fit2Work” National Criminal History Check and hold or be willing to obtain a Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
