Austek Roads (Victoria) are currently seeking an experienced Asphalt Crew Truck Operator/ Machine Operator for immediate start out of our Pakenham Depot, VIC.

The position is fast paced and requires a can-do attitude with attention to detail. Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday work.

The ideal candidate should have a good work ethic, be physically able to perform certain heavy manual tasks, have valuable communication skills.

Duties:

- Carry out asphalting of roads and driveways
- Assisting construction/paving crew with various duties such as; shovelling and raking, running wheelbarrow, safely operating skid steer loader, rollers & asphalt plant as required.
- Ensure tools, fuel and equipment for asphalt laying is fully stocked on crew truck.
- Your role & responsibilities may increase as your career develops.

Key requirements:

- Must be reliable and hard working
- Experienced in Quarry and Asphalt an advantage
- Must have HR Licence
- Proven work history of driving experience
- Ability to perform day to day duties with a professional safety mindset




- Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
- Punctual, honest and reliable
- Willing to undertake pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testing
