We are looking for a machine operator who can use or can be trained up in using and maintaining Dornier knitting and Stent machines.
Key responsibilities:
- Dornier machine setup: Programming and configuring looms for recent design setups
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Monitoring tension, repairing and maintaining looms to reduce downtime
- Quality control: Ensuring fabric meets standards for width, pick rate and yarn specifications
- Pattern adjustments: Preparing mechanisms for specific fabrics and adjusting for optimal weaving
- General maintenance on machines
Requirements Key requirements:
- LF Forklift license
- Must have mechanical aptitude - will train up the right candidate
- Maintenance and machine experience with a high attention to detail
- Good communicator who can work in a small team
- OH&S; compliant
