Our client is an property developer is expanding its in-house construction capability and seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join the delivery team for a landmark mixed-use development in Palm Beach.
Working closely with an accomplished Project Manager, you will take a leading role in the commercial administration of this $100 million-plus high-rise project. Your responsibilities will span subcontractor procurement, contract administration, cost control, financial reporting and design coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include
- Coordinating and awarding contracts to subcontractors and suppliers in accordance with the construction and procurement programs.
- Preparing scopes of work, technical documentation, subcontract tender lists and tender packages.
- Managing the tender process, evaluating submissions, recommending preferred contractors and finalising subcontractor engagement.
- Administering subcontractor performance against agreed scopes of work and the construction program.
- Assessing subcontractor progress claims, supplier invoices, variations and extensions of time.
- Preparing head contract progress claims and associated contractual correspondence.
- Maintaining project cost controls, forecasts and financial reporting.
- Preparing monthly final forecast cost estimates for allocated trade packages.
- Managing RFIs and commercial correspondence.
- Monitoring the procurement program and off-site activity schedule.
- Liaising with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and other key stakeholders.
- Working with the Project Manager to coordinate design documentation, project planning and programming.
About you
To be considered for this position, you will ideally have:
- At least six years’ experience as a Contracts Administrator on major construction projects.
- Experience delivering a minimum of two large-scale projects from commencement through to completion.
- A tertiary qualification in quantity surveying, construction management, project management or a related discipline.
- Previous experience across high-rise residential, mixed-use or commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, contract administration and project cost management.
- Sound construction knowledge and an understanding of relevant regulations, codes and safety requirements.
- Well-developed communication, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
- The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities within a demanding project environment.
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office.
