The Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Sewing Machine Operators and those who are willing to learn to help produce our world-class safety harnesses, lanyards, and other textile-based safety gear. This is a hands-on role where precision, quality, and consistency are key. If you're detail-oriented and take pride in your craftsmanship, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines to manufacture technical safety equipment (e.g., harnesses, webbing straps, and fall arrest systems)
- Sew and assemble heavy-duty synthetic materials (such as polyester webbing) with high precision
- Follow production specifications, patterns, and quality standards
- Conduct visual checks for stitching accuracy, strength, and finish
- Perform basic machine maintenance (threading, needle changes, cleaning)
- Meet daily production targets while maintaining safety and quality
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors in a clean, organised workplace
What You’ll Bring
- Prior experience using industrial sewing machines is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions
- Experience sewing heavy-duty or technical textiles is highly desirable
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- You must have full-time working rights to work in Australia
