MACH 1 Logistics Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operations professional to join our team in Rocklea, QLD.
This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the efficient functioning of our warehouse and distribution centre. You will be responsible for daily warehouse activities, maintaining safety standards, and following optimised logistics processes. This position is integral to our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients and maintaining our reputation as a leading logistics provider.
What you'll be doing
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock takes
- Oversee the receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching of goods
- Loading and unloading shipping containers, ensuring the goods are secure
- Manual handling, including lifting heavy goods 25 kg
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff and departments to align warehouse operations with business objectives
What we're looking for
- Experience in a warehouse operations or logistics management role
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control best practices
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Forklift licence a must, and experience operating warehouse equipment essential
- Adaptable to changing priorities and able to work in a quick-paced environment
