- Competence in documentation, programming and reflection
- Skilled judgement and the ability to upscale concerns appropriately
- Team collaboration, reliability and a positive, solutions‑focused attitude
- Commitment to continuous improvement and high‑quality practice

Child Safety & Compliance Expectations

- Understanding of child protection legislation and reporting obligations
- Ability to identify early signs of harm, risk or vulnerability
- Consistent adherence to safe practices, including hygiene, supervision, and behaviour guidance
- Respectful, trauma‑informed interactions
- Commitment to maintaining a physically and emotionally safe environment
- Professional boundaries and ethical conduct at all times

Applicants must hold the relevant Early Childhood qualification and valid Australian working rights.
