Carpenter and 1st/2nd and a 3rd/4th year apprentice

One For All Constructions is seeking a skilled Carpenter and 1st/2nd and a 3rd/4th year apprentice to join our growing team in Toowoomba, Queensland. This is a full time position offering an excellent opportunity for both experienced carpenters and apprentices to develop their craft within a dynamic construction environment. Key responsibilities

As a Carpenter and 1st/2nd and a 3rd/4th year apprentice, you will be responsible for:

Performing carpentry work including framing, fitting, and finishing of timber and other materials on construction projects

Reading and interpreting architectural plans, specifications and technical drawings

Measuring, marking, cutting and shaping timber and materials with precision and accuracy

Installing doors, windows, cabinetry and other timber fixtures to specification

Constructing and erecting structural timber components and frameworks

Ensuring all work complies with relevant building codes, safety standards and company procedures

Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition

Collaborating with other tradespeople and site teams to ensure project timelines are met

Supporting site safety protocols and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement

Assisting with apprenticeship training and skill development where applicable

What we're looking for

A qualification in carpentry, carpentry apprenticeship

Experience in residential or commercial carpentry projects, or demonstrated commitment to learning the trade (for apprentices)





Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications

Sound knowledge of carpentry tools and equipment, with the ability to use them safely and effectively

A strong understanding of building codes, Australian Standards and workplace health and safety regulations

Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in varied weather conditions

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

A valid driver's licence and reliable transport to site locations
