About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to take ownership of projects from concept through to detailed design and construction support, while building a leadership profile within a collaborative, technically strong team.

This position is responsible for:

- Deliver engineering designs, design verifications, calculations, technical reports and specifications for projects
- Assist with preparation of tenders and proposals
- Lead and manage projects to a very high standard ensuring client expectations and project deliverables are achieved
- Contribute to technical excellence and innovation within the team
- Mentor and guide junior engineers

Working closely with colleagues across the business, you will provide professional expertise, practical solutions and trusted support that helps our teams achieve outstanding outcomes.

About You

You are a technically proficient and relationship-driven engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality engineering outcomes.

What you bring

To contribute confidently in this role, you will bring

- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) and a Certified Practicing Engineer (CPEng) highly desirable
- 8+ years’ local maritime / marine / structural design experience




- Proven track record in project delivery and client-facing roles
- Proficiency in design and analysis software including SpaceGass, Optimoor, Strand7
- Strong understanding of Australian Standards and NCC requirements
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to develop project scope of works and proposals
- Demonstrated experience leading project teams
