Dezignteam is seeking an exceptional Project Architect to join our dynamic team in our Canberra office. As a Project Architect, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality architectural designs and overseeing the successful execution of complex projects. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects and contribute to the growth and success of our company.
What you'll be doing
- Lead the design and development of architectural plans and specifications for a variety of projects, ensuring adherence to client requirements, building codes, and industry standards
- Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and construction teams to coordinate the design and construction process
- Manage project timelines and resources to ensure the successful delivery of projects
- Provide expert advice and guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional development
- Stay up-to-date with the latest architectural trends, technologies, and best practices, and incorporate them into your work
- Contribute to the overall growth and strategic direction of the company
What we're looking for
- Degree in Architecture or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Architect/Project Leader delivering Mixed Use and Multi Residential Projects
- Demonstrated expertise in architectural design, project management and construction administration
- Strong technical skills in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to find innovative solutions
- Thorough understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards
