Job Description

RSR Consulting Ampricon Group Pty Ltd trading as Trev’s Security is seeking an experienced Web Developer to join its team on a full-time basis in Gladstone Central, Queensland. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, developing, testing and maintaining websites and web-based applications that support the company’s customer service, digital operations and technology-enabled security services. Working closely with management and operational staff, the Web Developer will analyse user and business requirements and translate them into reliable, secure and user-friendly web solutions.

Exposure to databases, integrations, digital security and technology-enabled business services. Supportive and collaborative working environment. Task & responsibilities Analyse user and business requirements and translate them into functional website and web application specifications.

Design, develop and maintain responsive websites and web applications using appropriate programming and scripting languages, frameworks and development tools. Develop web-based applications, online forms, customer interfaces, dashboards and digital workflows supporting business operations. Develop and maintain databases and integrate websites and web applications with APIs, third-party systems and relevant business software.

Write, modify, test and debug website and web application code to ensure functionality, reliability and compatibility. Implement appropriate website and web-server security measures, including authentication, user access controls, backup and recovery procedures. Optimise websites and web applications for performance, accessibility,



responsiveness and compatibility across different browsers and devices.

Monitor, diagnose and resolve technical issues affecting websites, web applications, databases and integrations. Maintain website architecture, programming code, databases and associated technical documentation. Research emerging web technologies and contribute to web-based strategies, development plans and improvements to the company’s digital platforms.

Qualification & experience Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in **Information Technology, Computer Science, Web Development, Software Development or a related discipline**, or equivalent relevant skills and experience. At least one year of demonstrated professional experience in web development. Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining websites and web-based applications using programming and scripting technologies.

Experience working with databases, APIs and web-system integrations. Knowledge of website security, authentication, access control, backup and recovery practices. Experience in testing, debugging, troubleshooting and optimising web applications.

Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand and translate user requirements into practical web solutions. Good communication and collaboration skills.
