Due to continued growth, Star Scaffolds is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Estimator to join our team at our Head Office in Kingston.

Working closely with our Senior Estimator, you will assist with preparing accurate and timely estimates and quotes for our clients while gaining valuable industry experience.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and organised individual looking to start or develop their career in estimating.

As a Junior Estimator, you will provide administrative and estimating support to the team. While the role is entry-level, you will have the opportunity to learn how to read plans, prepare quotes and develop your estimating skills under the guidance of experienced team members.

Full training will be provided.

About You

- Excellent English and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good computer and data-entry skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise competing tasks
- A positive, flexible and willing-to-learn attitude
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and house plans, or a willingness to learn
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Confidence to communicate with customers when required
- Previous estimating, construction or industry experience is preferred but not essential. We are willing to train the right person who demonstrates the right attitude and willingness to learn.
