$64,100 to $75,363 per annum (based 76 hours per fortnight), plus superannuation, and a 9day fortnight. Appointed salary in this range will be based on skills, qualifications andexperience.

About the role
Council is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Assistant Site Supervisor with strong teamworkskills and demonstrated knowledge and experience in civil construction and Work Health andSafety.
In this role, you will use your extensive civil construction knowledge and practical experience tosupport the successful delivery of Council’s construction projects in accordance with theDelivery Program. Working closely with the Site Supervisor, you will assist in coordinating day to-day construction activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, to a high standard and within agreed timeframes and budgets.
Position requirements
Essential
- Extensive experience in Civil Construction
- White Card
- Current Class C Drivers Licence
Good to have
- Experience working on Local Government projects
- Dogging and rigging license
About you
You are a proactive and practical civil construction professional who enjoys working as part ofa team and delivering quality outcomes. You have hands-on experience in civil construction, astrong understanding of Work Health and Safety, and the ability to identify issues and findpractical solutions.
You are reliable, safety-focused and take pride in your work. You communicate well, workcollaboratively and are keen to develop your skills while supporting the Site Supervisor indelivering Council’s construction projects.
