Are you an experienced leader with strong licensing knowledge and a passion for helping others succeed? The QBCC is seeking a capable and team-oriented Team Leader Case Manager to lead a small team, deliver licensing training and provide trusted advice on complex licensing matters. This is an opportunity to use your leadership, technical knowledge and communication skills to improve the way licensing services are delivered across Queensland. You will support new and existing team members, develop practical guidance and procedures, and help ensure licensing decisions are fair, consistent and well informed.
About The Role
Working within Licensing Services, you will:
- lead the day-to-day operations, workload management and development of a small team, providing coaching, mentoring and technical guidance
- deliver licensing training for new starters and refresher training for existing employees, including training delivered at QBCC regional offices
- develop, review and improve licensing guides, procedures and supporting resources
- act as a subject matter expert across all licensing streams, including builder, trade and occupational licensing
This position is based in Brisbane and flexible arrangements can be considered upon application, including working remotely at a Regional QBCC office subject to availability. While the role allows for flexibility in working from home, regular in-person attendance at the QBCC office is a mandatory requirement.

- strong knowledge of licensing processes, legislation, policies and procedures
- experience delivering training
- experience making sound decisions in complex matters where judgement and discretion are required
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- the ability to build effective working relationships and provide practical advice
